Title: Avro 698 animation

Client: Aeroplane Monthly

Artist Mario Lendvai constructed a pair of 3-D models from which I produced the final illustrations for the magazine. Here's a Flash animation of his model of the initial Avro 698 concept which was, eventually, to become the Vulcan: a very pure delta flying wing with separate cockpits for pilot and copilot. The other 3 crew members, 5 jet engines, fuel, payload and avionics were all to be accomodated within the huge wing of this futuristic design
