Title: Pier construction

This artwork was, in a way, a sequel to the El Nino graphic. In the 1983 El Nino winter this pier had been badly damaged by storms so we wanted to show what went wrong in 1983 and how the pier had been stengthened to make sure it didn't happen again in the El Nino winter of 1997-98 (it did stay up that time)
