I am constantly looking for ways to add an illustrative element to charts and graphs. I am convinced that the strongest way to do this is introduce an element of good, solid drawing. As can be seen from these examples, somewhat dry statistics can be made into something much more visually appealing by the introduction of quite simple drawn elements
